This is the website of Dr. Mohamad Louay Jabban, Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb Surgeon in Abu Dhabi. This notice explains what information the website collects, why, and which services handle it. It covers this website only.
What we collect
Appointment requests. When you use the booking form, we collect:
- your full name
- your phone number
- your email address
- the clinic and date you prefer
- the time of day you would like us to contact you
- any message you choose to add
Reviews. When you leave a review, we collect your first name, your star rating, what you write and, if you add it, the procedure you had. Reviews are checked before they appear. Approved reviews are shown on this website with your first name.
Please do not send detailed medical information through the website. Dr. Louay will go through your medical history with you in person.
Why we use it
We use appointment requests to contact you and arrange your appointment. We use reviews to show other patients what people have said about their care. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Services that handle your information
We use these services to run the website:
- Supabase: Stores appointment requests and reviews in our database.
- Resend: Sends our team an email with the details of each new appointment request or review.
- Gmail (Google): Hosts the inbox where our team receives those emails, so a copy of each appointment request and review is kept there.
- Railway: Hosts this website. Like any web host, it receives technical details such as your IP address when pages are loaded.
- Cloudflare: Runs our domain name and sends visitors from upperlimbcare.com to www.upperlimbcare.com.
- Google Fonts: Supplies the fonts this site uses. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address.
- YouTube: Hosts our videos. Video thumbnails load from YouTube's servers, and we embed players in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). On the Videos page, a player only loads after you click a video or topic.
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If you play a YouTube video, YouTube may store information on your device under its own privacy policy.
Where it is stored
The services above store and process information on servers outside the UAE.
How long we keep it
We do not delete appointment requests automatically. Each one stays in our database, and the email about it stays in our team's inbox, until you ask us to delete it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and you can ask us to take down a review you have left.
